• I am interested in becoming on the Advisory Committee (See eligibility criteria below)

Board members of the Conejo Schools Foundation should have the following characteristics:

• Passionate commitment to the best public education for all students of the Conejo Valley Unified School District.
• Willingness to put in the time needed on a working board, e.g. monthly board meeting, work on two committees, additional assignments as needed, assist with funds solicitation, attend board retreat.
• Broad base of contacts in one or more sectors of the community, i.e. banking, real-estate, major businesses, education, finance, medical, etc.
• Willing and able to articulate the mission of the foundation: the best education for the students of the CVUSD.
• Willing to make a financial commitment to the organization of $1,000 per year.

ADVISORY COMMITTEE

Advisory Committee members of the Conejo Schools Foundation should have the following characteristics:

• Passionate commitment to the best public education for all students of the Conejo Valley Unified School District.
• Willingness to meet one time per year and provide advice on funding programs to the Board.
• Broad base of contacts in one or more sectors of the community, i.e. banking, real-estate, major businesses, education, finance, medical, etc.
• Willing and able to articulate the mission of the foundation: the best education for the students of the CVUSD.
• Willing to make a financial commitment to the organization of $2,500 – 5,000 for individuals, and $5,000 for corporate members.
